Past Meetings:

December 5th, 2008 - Hosted by the Bodega Marine Lab. We had 29 folks in attendance representing 20 different organizations. Ryan Branciforte from the Bay Area Open Space Council gave us an insider's look at their Upland Habitat Goals project. And Ayzik Solomeshch and Alex Koltunov of UC Davis provided an overview of the State Coastal Conservancy-funded Sonoma-Marin Coastal Prairie Mapping Project.

July 20th, 2007 - Hosted by the Gold Ridge RCD at their historic Valley Ford School House in Valley Ford, CA. We had 21 representatives from 13 different organizations and agencies. Featured this meeting was an update on the various conservation planning efforts underway in around Sonoma County. Also, SSU professors Mateo Clark and Caroline Christian presented the results of a student project using MARXAN for reserve design in the Laguna de Santa Rosa. And folks from the Sonoma Ecology Center shared their new weed mapping tool, GeoWeed. 

November 30th, 2006 - Hosted by the Sonoma Land Trust. Feature: Connecting Communities and the Land presentation by Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District staff.

June 6th, 2006 - Hosted by the Sonoma Ecology Center. Feature: Weed Information Management System (WIMS) presentation by Sonoma Ecology Center staff.

January 20th, 2006 - Our kick-off meeting! Hosted by the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District.
