How to Participate
There are many ways to join the Commons, contribute to it, and benefit from it. Please contact us for more information.
Please take our survey and help build a case for funding and to guide the priorities for the SF Commons.
Our popular workshops in practical information management will be offered again, funding provided. See our Training Materials for an idea about what we teach. Please let us know if you'd like to attend and we will put you on our mailing list. We are also happy to work with your organization individually.
Become a test-user of software and services as we develop them.
SF Commons tools and services are planned to enable you to integrate data sharing into your organization's in-house information management. At this time the best way to share data is to create a catalog in the California Environmental Information Clearinghouse.
We welcome your involvement in one of our committees: Steering/Funding, Technical Development.
Build a Commons component into your research or conservation project or collaborate with us to create Commons solutions for your specific use-case. Solutions and technology built for any Commons partner will be offered to all partners.
Funding is needed for software development, outreach, and training workshops.
